
Spring Bank Pharmaceuticals Announces QTDP Grant
(Milford, Ma. November, 2010) Spring Bank Pharmaceuticals, Inc. has received a grant of $244,000 under the US Government's Qualifying Therapeutic Discovery Project (QTDP), for its ongoing development SB9200, a novel treatment for Hepatitis C and Hepatitis B.
Spring Bank Pharmaceuticals, CEO Doug Jensen said that they are pleased that the development of SB9200 has qualified for this recognition, and look forward to reporting the key development data on the drug in the near future.
QTDP grants are awarded to projects that show a reasonable potential to result in new therapies to treat areas of unmet medical need or prevent, detect or treat chronic or acute diseases and conditions, reduce the long-term growth of health care costs in the US, or significantly advance the goal of curing cancer within 30 years.
